This, one of my favorite Amy Grant tunes, describes how I still feel years after my fiancee`, Inna and I departed to go our separate ways after our romantic London, U.K. interlude of 2013.
I was driving back to the room from a Holiday party and found my Amy Grant’s Greatest Hits CD in the glove compartment. And while “Baby Baby” is my all-time Amy Grant smash hit which reminds me of when I first discovered Amy while the overnight DJ on Atlantic City’s WAYV, FM, circa 1993, I feel this tune at this time, “The Lucky One”, describes and seconds my emotions while reflecting the progress that Nina and I made towards our future unison while connecting in England.
Here are a few more of the hundreds of “Mind Your Head” shots that we took in late October, 2013 – the highlight of my year with thanks to the heavenly Father, who without the divine intervention that brought Nina and I together, none of this travel (and my first-ever U.S. passport) would have ever come to pass.
“I stay up all night to get lucky…”
“I flew all night to get lucky…”
“I’m up all night to get some…”
“She’s up all night to the sun…”
“She’s up all night for good fun…”
“We’re up all night to the sun…”
“We’re up all night to get some…”
“We’re up all night to get lucky…”
“I’m the lucky one…”
“We’ve come too far To give up who we are…”
“So let’s raise the bar and our cups to the stars…”
“I’m up all night to get stoned…”
“…stoned…”
“The present has no ribbon
Your gift keeps on giving…”
“What is this I’m feeling?…”
“We’re up all night to get lucky…”
“We’re up all night to get lucky/I’m the Lucky one…”
“I’m up all night to get lucky…”
“I flew all night to get lucky!”
“I write all night to get lucky…”
“I pray all night to get lucky.”
And…I heard this Daft Punk jam soo much while there that it is my “theme song” of our vacation rendezvous now. Major props to Magic 105 and Capital FM audio in London as-presented over our in-house tele screen.
